Allowing London taxis to drive on bus lanes is not a State aid

17 décembre 2015

London taxis are allowed to drive on bus lanes and do not receive any State aids.

In London, only London taxis, subject to strict Regulations, are allowed to drive on bus lanes. The Eventech company that developed a passenger transport service activity in the London area objected to the fines inflicted on their drivers, arguing that the policy on bus lanes constituted a non-notified State aid in favour of London taxi operators contrary to articles 108, paragraph 3, and 107, paragraph 1 TFEU.
